A charming little Victorian pincushion in the shape of a basket. The pincushion is made from a coquilla nut which is a thickly shelled seed of the Brazilian feather leaved palm and is highly prized as it can be polished and finely carved or turned.
The pincushion stands 4 cms high, without the handle and 7 cms high with the handle. The pincushion section is covered with bluevelvet.
