FINE 19C CONTINENTAL PATCH BOX WITH PAINTED MINIATURE TO TOP
A fine little patch box, the base is made of opaline glass which has been painted powder blue to the outside with a band of floral decoration.
Gilt metal frame to the top housing the little miniature which has been painted on to a bisque ware panel.
There is a number to the bisque ware which is - 20 K. The miniature is of a young child.
The box measures 2.25" (5.5 cms) long x 1.75" (4.5cms) wide.
Good condition for age, there is one minute chip to the top of the miniature.
